Leather Care
Full-grain leather is a living material that delicately responds to how it is used, where it is kept, and how it is treated.
It reflects its life, through age, with grace.
I — Protect from the Elements
Leather is sensitive to water, heat, and prolonged sun exposure. If your case comes into contact with water, pat it dry gently with a soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally.
Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures for any extended period of time.
II — Avoid Oils and Dyes
Full-grain leather absorbs. That is part of what makes it age well — and part of what requires care.
Keep your case away from ink, makeup, and dark fabrics that may transfer. .
III — Handle with Intention
Avoid overfilling bags or pockets when the case is inside. Sustained pressure will distort the form over time. Quality leather is highly–adaptable and durable, but not indestructible.
IV — Store with Care
When not in use, keep your case in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
The original packaging or a soft dust bag will protect it from surface scratches and help it hold its shape.
V — Let It Age
The patina that develops over time is not wear. It is the leather becoming specific to you — your hands, your days, your patterns of use.
It is the most honest sign of quality a material can offer. Carry with pride.
